OUTGOING president of the North Worcestershire Rotary Club Graham Mackenzie reflected on his year in office at the group’s last meeting.
At Bentley Village Hall Graham thanked his fellow Rotarians and committee chairs who had successfully achieved and surpassed all the original goals and targets set at the beginning of his year.
He mentioned two projects in particular – the reconstruction of the Community Centre in Nepal and the building of the Outdoor Shelter at Rigby Hall School, describing those as being ‘the essence of Rotary.’
After receiving the chain, new president Dr Barry Bywater briefly outlined his thoughts and objectives for the coming year. Rotarian Derek Radcliffe was presented with the president elect’s chain of office.
