YOUNGSTERS from St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School have been learning about the First World War.
The youngsters have studied the impact the war had on the lives of so many people and have also given staff at Sainsbury’s Northfield a helping hand with poppy recycling.
Acting headteacher Joanne Kennett said: “The children have really engaged with the topic and enjoyed listening to many of our guest speakers, from the local community.”
