NEW Miss Worcestershire Laura Beth Morgan has spoken of her delight at being able to support the Primrose Hospice as one of her chosen charities.

The 24-year-old, who lives in Belbroughton and works as a TV and film production assistant, said the hospice would always have a place in her heart after it helped her grandad Paul before he passed away.

Throughout her year as Miss Worcestershire, she will be helping during at a number of the charity’s fund-raising events and activities, as well as raising awareness of the hospice.

“I am completely overwhelmed by everything, I am really excited to be supporting Primrose Hospice.

“I want to make sure I give something back as they were there when we needed them the most,” she added.

Laura will be taking part in various fundraising activities and events over the coming months, and will also help raise awareness of the hospice.

Having bagged the Miss Worcestershire crown, she is busy preparing to take part in the grand finale of ‘Miss England’ this August.
