BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid officially opened My First Friends Nursery and Pre-School last Friday (November 13).

It is based at the Old Courthouse, Ednal Lane, which has been revamped and modernised to provide high quality childcare for parents.

Open 52 weeks of the year, it caters for babies, through to pre-school, preparing youngsters for their step up to big school.

There is a secure outdoor area where the children can enjoy plenty of play and there is an all-weather play area for when it rains.

My First Friends also supports the Early Years Education funding with 2, 3 and 4 year old funded places available at the nursery.

Nursery owner Catriona Savage already has two other My First Friends nurseries in Rubery and Wylde Green, which have outstanding Ofsted ratings.

She said: “We are delighted Sajid came to officially open our nursery.

“It is great to have the support of our local MP and Cabinet Minister.”

Sajid Javid, MP said “I was delighted to officially open this new independent nursery.

“The facilities look great fun for the kids and I was very impressed by the staff team’s commitment and enthusiasm.”
