A MOTORCYLIST in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a collision involving the bike he was riding and a car in Northfield this morning (Tuesday).
The incident, which happened at Hanging Lane at 8.25am, left the rider with a fractured pelvis and pain in his right leg and right shoulder.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent a rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew to the scene and, after immobilising the man with a scoop stretcher and neck collar, he was given intravenous pain relief before being taken to Birmingham’s QE Hospital.
