THERE will be a variety of activities at Lickey Hills Primary School and Nursery’s summer fete tomorrow (Saturday).

This year, it was up to the pupils to decide what attractions would be there.

During the school’s Enterprise Week, youngsters were tasked with devising business ventures and working in teams to come up with ideas for stalls.

The PTA provided start-up funds for each class and there will be prizes for the class which makes the most profit.

Pupils’ stalls will run alongside traditional favourites run by the PTA.

Among the stalls will be ones selling sweets, cakes, arts and crafts, nearly new items, books, potted plants and more.

There will also be face painting, crazy golf, circus skills, beat the keeper, games and competitions, a fun photo booth and more.

The summer fete is open from midday to 2pm and everyone is welcome.

Schoolchildren will also be showcasing their musical talents.

All proceeds will go towards buying extra equipment or resources.
