RESIDENTS across Bromsgrove and Droitwich are being urged to get up and go for a stroll during May’s National Walking Month.
Those struggling to reach the recommended 10,000 steps a day still have a few days left to get involved in the scheme.
Walking 20 minutes a day will burn up to 100 calories and swapping cars for feet will have environmental benefits.
People can either walk to or from work or even during lunch breaks or in the evening to get some fresh air.
