CHURCHES in the Bromsgrove, Rubery and South Birmingham can win a share of a £20,000 prize fund for engaging with the community.
The competition, funded by insurance company Ecclesiastical, aims to find the best projects run by churches in the last 12 months.
Applications can be entered until August 31 as long as they prove they are aimed at supporting or helping local communities.
The winners will be announced on November 9.
Michael Angell, of Ecclesiastical, said he was overwhelmed by some of he entries received, describing them as ‘humbling and inspirational’.
