TONIGHT (Friday) is the night as Hunter and the Bear bring their strong vocal harmonies and great guitar playing to Artrix at 8pm.
When long-time friends Jimmy Hunter and Will Irvine ended up at Newcastle University, they spent most of their time writing songs before heading to London in pursuit of gigs.
They soon became a quartet, often rehearsing in a sound-proofed shopping container in a London car park before being snapped up to support Eric Clapton at a sell-out show in Summer 2014.
The band has recently finished its first headline tour to wide acclaim. A powerful blend of folk, rock and country catch them kick up a storm at Artrix tonight.
Tickets cost £12 and are available at www.artrix.co.uk or from the box office on 01527 577330.
