AN OPEN verdict has been reached following the inquest of a Hollywood woman who sparked a huge police search after she went missing.

Worcestershire Coroner’s Court failed to reach a conclusion on Wednesday (January 7) as to how Eve Cullen died, and the medical cause of her death is also unknown.

The 52-year-old disappeared from her home on July 19 and her body was found more than three weeks later on August 9 by a member of the public by a footpath near Chantry Close.

Mrs Cullen was originally from Birmingham and had lived in Kings Norton for 19 years before moving to Hollywood just five years ago.

She lived in Corbett Road at the time of her death and left behind her husband Peter, who had been married to her for 23 years, and their three children – 20-year-old Laura and 15-year-old twins Charlotte and James.
