A CONVICT who failed to return to HMP Hewell has been found by police.

Martin Robinson was released on licence from the Tardebigge prison on June 13 but never returned on July 9.

Warwickshire Police put out an appeal to search for the 29-year-old who had links to Stratford-Upon-Avon, as well as Nuneaton and Warwick.

He was arrested whilst travelling in a 4×4 in Stafford about 7pm on Tuesday night (July 22).

Robinson, who was originally serving time for harassment and breaching a restraining order, will appear in court soon.

A spokesman from the police thanked the public for helping with the appeal.
