MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Astronomical Society are urging residents to join them for a night of stargazing which will take place at the town’s Rugby Club on Monday (January 18).
The annual Stargazing Live Public Open Night is being held at Finstall Park from 7.30pm.
Those who go along will be able to have a go at stargazing through a variety of different strength telescopes, members of the society will be on hand to speak to those who go along and answer any questions.
The group’s assistant PR officer Chris Butler said there had been a great response from residents over the last couple of years and they were hoping there would be again this year.
Admission is free, everyone, regardless of age or ability, is welcome and refreshments will be available.
The event coincides with the BBC Stargazing Live event which began yesterday and runs until tomorrow (Thursday).
