MORE than 30 people with disabilities from Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Redditch had a go at some drumming and dancing when theatrical percussion group Glamba paid them a visit.

The event – organised by the Amber Support Service – took place at Bromsgrove’s Ryland Centre.

Gary Ives, Amber’s day service manager, said: “It was a fun day that went down really well with everyone who took part.”

The group has also got two fund-raisers lined up with the first one – a onesie day for Avoncroft Museum – due to take place on Thursday (April 16).

The Amber Support Service runs sessions for people with disabilities every Friday at the Ryland Centre from 11am.

Anyone wanting to find out more should call Gary on 07500 090098.
