THOSE wanting to find out about Bromsgrove Round Table can do so and get a free pint in the process.

The group, which is open to men aged between 18 and 45, is always open to new members and is meeting between 7.30pm and 9pm this Thursday (May 29) at the Ewe and Lamb, Hanbury Road.

Bromsgrove Round Table chairman, Jon Lear, said “Lots of people will know Round Table here from the work we do with Santa and his sleigh at Christmas, but for the majority of the year we carry out a wide range of social events, and we tend to do the sorts of things you wouldn’t get to do on your own.”

Recent outings have included a Black Country pub crawl, a demonstration of butchery skills and a tour of the new fire station.

“We have a full calendar of varied events planned for the reminder of the year, and we are always happy to welcome potential new members.

“Anyone can come along to try one of our events with us, and there is no commitment to continue if it’s not for you.”

Visit www.bromsgrove.roundtable.co.uk for more about the club and its events.

Nationally, Round Table has over 4,000 members, and is growing fast.

Membership offers a combination of social events, and the opportunity to put something back into the community.

As an organisation offering membership to young men, there are no criteria for joining, and members come from a variety of backgrounds and professions.

To take advantage of the free pint offer, just print out the poster with this article and take it along with you to the pub on Thursday.

*The Free Pint offer is limited to one pint per person.
