DODDERHILL schoolgirls sung their hearts out at a special concert with Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra.

The talented youngsters from Dodderhill School, in Droitwich, sung up a storm at the event held at St Martin’s Church in Worcester.

The girls put their vocal skills to the test singing classical pieces such as Neptune from Gustav Holst’s The Planets and John Williams’ Escapades.

Cate Mawston, Dodderhill School’s headmistress, said: “We’re always so proud of our girls in the choir when they perform at events such as this.

“They are all extremely talented and it’s such a pleasure for staff, parents and members of the public to listen to them and they never fail to hit the right note.

“Well done to all of the girls involved.”
