Cofton Hackett residents invited to share concerns

Bromsgrove Editorial 29th Jan, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

RESIDENTS in Cofton Hackett are being urged to voice their concerns about issues affecting their area at the latest PACT (Partners and Communities Together) meeting.

The event will be held at 8pm on Thursday (February 5) at Rednal Social Club and the panel features local government representatives who have a track record of sorting out issues.

Organisers said they were hoping as many people as possible from the existing village would attend, along with those living on the new developments.

The aim is to get the PACT panel working on issues which impact on the wider Cofton Hackett community and to progress the integration of residents from the two sets of houses.

Emily Mayne, the chair of the Cofton Hackett PACT, said: “Cofton Hackett PACT has become a powerful voice for the community which we think is currently under used.

“The Government is still supporting this scheme so we need to ensure that we maximise its impact to improve the local environment for residents.

“It would be great if residents from the new houses in Cofton Hackett came to the meetings to contribute.

“We are interested in issues which impact any resident in Cofton Hackett.”

Those who are unable to attend can submit issues at the local Post Office.
