Christmas Tree Festival launches at Alvechurch Baptist Church this Sunday

ALVECHURCH Baptist Church will be holding its first ever Christmas Tree Festival.

The event officially opens with carol singing at 4.30pm on Sunday (December 13) and it runs from then to December 19.

It will be open every day from 10am and there will be specific activities on each day of the festival, including activity sessions for children after school on the Monday, Droitwich hand bell ringers on the Tuesday and afternoon tea and singing on Wednesday. Thursday will see Christmas readings and a business lunch and on the Friday, a coffee morning and tots service, along with a tree hanging session.

Withybed poets and the Tuesday art group are also involved.




The festival closes on December 19 with the community choir singing from 11am.
