YOUNGSTERS from Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School have been celebrating Chinese New Year by learning about the nation’s culture and cuisine.
The children have tried traditional Chinese food using chopsticks and the home corner was transformed into a restaurant with woks and menus.
They also heard the story of the animal race which features the astrology signs on the Chinese Zodiac.
Jacqueline Walker, the manager of the Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School, said: “We feel it is very important for children to learn about other countries, cultures and traditions and the children have had great fun whilst learning.”
