A BRAVE woman’s charity sky dive raised £500 for relationship counselling in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Worcester.

Nikki Stearman, from Astwood Bank, took the plunge in aid of Relate Worcestershire which helps individuals, couples and families through difficulties in their relationships.

Although she was very scared of heights Nikki was determined to challenge herself and do something worthwhile to raise awareness and vital funds for the cause.

Nikki said she had been truly grateful for the support Relate Worcestershire had given her.

She added: “I wanted to raise money to help others who are encountering relationship problems or have recently come out of one to gain the support needed by this amazing charity.”

Sarah Moore, Relate Worcestershire’s chief executive officer, said they believed good, strong relationships helped people to lead healthy, happy and successful lives which all contributed in the strengthening of local communities.

“The money Nikki has raised will enable other individuals or families to receive the help they need.

“We are very grateful to her for doing the jump and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored her- it really will make a difference.”
