A TOTAL of £280 was raised for the Bromsgrove Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal by members of the town’s Unionist Club.
The cash, raised from the monthly quiz and raffle at the club, was handed over to the town’s RBL chairman Patrick Smith before Wednesday’s Armistice Day parade and service.
Club member Paul Ward said: “We always get good support from our members but the one in November for the Poppy Appeal is always the one we get the best response for.”
Patrick thanked the Unionist Club for its fantastic donation.
