THE SUPERHERO day held at Thomas Cook last weekend raised £130 for the company’s children’s charity.
Employees dressed in costumes on Saturday (August 20) so youngsters could have their photographs taken with their favourite characters and there was also a cake sale and a raffle.
Thomas Cook staff thanked everyone who supported the fund-raiser and donated to the cause and The Standard for publicising it in last week’s paper and helping make it such a success.
The Thomas Cook Children’s Charity is a grant making organisation which is aimed at improving the lives of children both in the UK and overseas.
