Bromsgrove street robbery puts man in hospital

A STREET robbery in Bromsgrove town centre has left a man needing hospital treatment.

It happened about 4.50am this morning (Friday) on High Street where two men robbed and attacked a 49-year-old man from the town.

They pushed him to the floor before he was punched, bitten and kicked.

His bag containing his mobile phone and passport was taken.




A pair of men, one aged 25 and the other 24, have been arrested and are currently in custody.

The victim suffered significant injuries and was taken to hospital.
