SINGLE Bromsgrovians looking for love over the festive season can go along to a dating night at The Lyttelton Arms in Hagley.
The Pure Gold Christmas Party, organised by Bromsgrove-based Xpress Dating, is at 8pm next Friday (December 5).
It is the company’s first lock and key event since they formed over ten years ago.
Lock and key events are the most common types of singles event, but it is one of the first to be held in the area.
People of all ages are welcomed with a drink and then each woman receives a lock and each man gets a key. They then mingle and try to find their match, with the emphasis being on having fun and meeting as many people as possible in one night.
Matches can then get the chance to win some great prizes.
The party is held in the pub’s private area with a DJ and bar.
Owner Helen O’Donnell said: “Some ladies can be nervous about attending on their own but we always offer to meet them in the venue’s car park and introduce them to others – it’s important that everyone’s comfortable and enjoys the night.”
