BROMSGROVE’S Community First Responders are looking to raise funds to keep their responder car in good shape so it is always available.
The registered charity has a team of volunteers trained by West Midlands Ambulance Service in emergency first aid who are dispatched to the address at the same time as the ambulance when a 999 call is made.
Based in the district, the volunteers are often first on the scene and those vital few minutes can make a huge difference to a patients’ treatment.
The team would like to raise £1,000 to insure, maintain and fuel their newly-donated scheme responder car which will enable them to respond 24/7 and support the Bromsgrove community.
