MORE THAN 600 Santas dashed through the Second City to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
A number of Bromsgrove fund-raisers suited and booted up for the special event which took place on Saturday (December 6) around Brindley Place, in Birmingham.
Organisers are hoping to raise £35,000 for the charity which helps with the care of local life-threatened and life-limited children, young people and their families.
Speedy Santas took part in either a 5k run or a 2k Santa Stroll in aid of the cause.
Bromsgrove’s Steph Daley was one of the runners who bravely faced the chilly weather to take part.
Steph said: “It was great fun to dress up and take part – it’s not every day you get to dress up as Santa and run around Brindley Place.”
