Bromsgrove Folk Festival takes place this weekend

FOLK fans will be in for a treat next weekend when the annual Bromsgrove Folk Festival takes place at The Bowling Green Inn, Stoke Prior.

The 350-seater marquee at the venue will provides ‘up close and personal’ concerts for those going along.

The full weekend of fun, friendship, laughter and great music begins on Thursday (July 9) when the pre-folk festival singin’, suppin’ and session from 8pm to 11pm.

On that evening, there is an eclectic music session in the pub and an acoustic one in the marquee.




Next Friday will feature sets from Fairfield, Anthony John Clarke, Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar, Artisan and Blackbeard’s Tea Party. That evening’s entertainment will fun from 7.30pm.

Then next Saturday, there will be other events from 6pm and the main concert from 7.30pm. On the line-up will be Barlowcree, Colum Sands, Hat Fitz and Cara and others.


Tickets (unallocated seating) are £20 for next Friday and £22 for next Saturday.

Alternatively, there are full weekend tickets available for £39.
