A BROMSGROVE author is celebrating the upcoming launch of her third novel Love Lies and Lemon Cake.
Sue Watson will release her new book today (Friday), which tells the bittersweet story of a woman called Faye who realises her life is passing her by without her achieving any of her dreams.
Sue said so many people lived lives they had grown out of and stayed in the wrong job, the wrong marriage and the wrong life so she wanted to write about a real woman with real problems.
Sue added that she wanted to convey the message anything was possible and it was never too late if you just believed in yourself.
“Today I have a healthy, happy teenage daughter, a happy marriage and now a career as a best-selling author, which all started after the worst week of my life.
“I believe in fate and I also believe you must follow your heart and your dreams.” she said.
