Blue Cross charity shops in Bromsgrove and Droitwich to go blue today

BLUE CROSS charity shops in Bromsgrove and Droitwich will ‘go blue’ tomorrow (Saturday) in support of the centre’s fund-raising displays.

Both stores will have blue-themed window displays and blue cakes will go on sale.

Staff and volunteers will have blue hair and faces painted blue.

Residents are being urged to help boost the campaign’s coffers by holding their own blue-themed event – either being sponsored to wear a blue wig or blue clothes or bake blue cakes to sell to friends and colleagues.

Neil Edwards, Bromsgrove Blue Cross centre manager at Bromsgrove said: “The rebuild is really taking shape but we still have a way to go.

“Thanks to everyone who has helped with our appeal so far and we hope the shops going blue will inspire even more people to help us raise the funds we need.”
