THE ORGANISERS of Bromsgrove Art Society’s annual exhibition, which starts tomorrow (June 21), say it is bigger and better than ever with more than 400 paintings on display.
The event, at the town’s All Saints Church, Birmingham Road, will be open from 10am to 4pm everyday until July 5, except Sundays, when it is open between 12midday and 4pm.
The paintings, all by local artists, cover a huge variety of subjects and styles, ranging from traditional to modern.
They also come and in a variety of sizes from small to very large.
Mike Hurst, from the society, said: “The standard this year is higher than ever, and all the paintings on display are for sale, with a large range of prices, to suit every pocket.”
Twenty per cent of the proceeds from the sale of paintings will be split between the church restoration fund and covering the cost of staging the exhibition.
