BARNT Green bikers cycled their way from London to Paris to raise money for charity.
Wayne and Nicola Thomas, director and head of probate at Worcester’s Thomas Guise branch respectively, peddled over 300 miles as part of Global Adventure Challenge.
They completed the ride in four days, with Wayne raising money for Worcester Snoezelen and Nicola for the Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove, which cared for her mother.
Wayne said: “The ride was tougher than we expected, on day two from Calais to Amiens we cycled 102 miles, with 6,000 feet of climbing in 30 degrees heat.
“But it was a great experience, and the team spirit was just incredible.
“So far we’ve raised nearly £450 for charity, and hope to raise more.
“It was a very special experience, done for two worthwhile local causes.”
