SENTIMENTAL items worth £3,000 were destroyed in an arson attack.

Irreplaceable photographs and vinyls belonging to a 47-year-old were ruined when a shed, on Wych Road, was set alight on Saturday, January 17, about 2.40am.

The fire destroyed the shed along with its contents and caused damage to a neighbour’s fence and garden.

PC Joe Brooks said: “This incident has caused a huge amount of upset for both the victim and his partner who have lost valuable sentimental items.”

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
