BROMSGROVE Sporting have signed attacking midfielder Dan Trickett-Smith who becomes the club’s third arrival from National League North-bound Hednesford Town.
Trickett-Smith helped Hednesford to back-to-back promotions with the club to play at Step Two next season.
And the 30-year-old joins goalkeeper Tony Breeden and midfielder Simeon Maye in swapping Keys Park for the Victoria Ground next campaign.
The attacking midfielder previously won a league title with Leek Town and started his career at Crewe Alexandra before joining Liverpool’s youth team for a six-figure fee in 2012.
He turned professional with Liverpool the following year but never made a senior appearance for the club.
Trickett-Smith said: “I’m delighted to be signing for Bromsgrove and I can’t wait to get started.
“From speaking with the manager, it was a really positive conversation and it’s clear the club is moving in the right direction, with a lot of ambition moving forward.
“I’m looking forward to getting started and meeting the lads, and doing everything I can to help the team have a successful year and hopefully achieve promotion.”
