ASTON VILLA fans have had little to cheer in recent seasons but the Bromsgrove supporters group are celebrating a record-breaking hat-trick.
The Bromsgrove Villa Lions scooped the Aston Villa Official UK Supporters’ Club of the Year at an awards’ evening in The 1874 Lounge, Villa Park. It is the first time a supporters club has won the accolade for three successive years.
The club recently passed another milestone by welcoming its 700th member.
The Bromsgrove Villa Lions run coaches to the vast majority of away fixtures, selected home matches and also book match tickets for club members.
It also organises various events and raises money for the Acorns Children’s Hospice through various initiatives.
