WORCESTERSHIRE could be set for a wet and windy week with two storms set to cross the country.

Storm Dudley will cross the northern half of the UK on Wednesday night and into Thursday morning, while Storm Eunice will bring strong winds and potentially some rain and snow for parts of the country on Friday.

The weather warnings – one yellow and one amber – have been issued for large parts of northern England and Scotland on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Parts of Merseyside, Yorkshire and Lancashire have been hit with a yellow weather warning for high winds from Wednesday to Friday.

The yellow weather warning has been extended to cover the whole of England, Wales and Northern Ireland on Friday.

Meanwhile a more severe amber warning for wind has been issued for parts of the North East, Cumbria and northern Lancashire, parts of Yorkshire and Humber, northern Northern Ireland, and south and central Scotland.
