WEATHER - What will bonfire weekend be like in Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham

PEOPLE across Bromsgrove, Rubery and South Birmingham will be heading out tonight or tomorrow night for bonfire and fireworks events across the region.

Today (Saturday) will be mostly wet all with heavy rain forecast by the Met Office between now and 3pm. The rain should then ease around 5pm, bringing a dry night for tonight’s bonfires and fireworks. The temperature could drop as low as 5°C so if you are heading out, wrap up warm.

Among the events taking place tonight are Bromsgrove and Rubery and the annual Catshill Village Meadow bonfire and fireworks.

Tomorrow (Sunday) will be predominantly dry so should be perfect for any bonfire and fireworks events taking place in Bromsgrove, Rubery and South Birmingham. Again temperatures could drop as low as 5°C .
