THE annual bonfire and fireworks event on Catshill Meadow takes place tomorrow (Saturday).
The event, which raises funds for the 6th Bromsgrove Scouts group, has grown in popularity year-on-year.
Entry is via the main gates where there are four entry points and Brookside Drive entry where there is one point.
Admission is £3 per adult £2 per child.
Cash payments on the gates which open at 5.30pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks will be at 7.30pm.
Street food vendors will include Hangry Moose, Betty’s Waffle Co, Fabufloss, Jackies Kitchen, Pizza Heaven, CVH – Catshill Village Hall and Brett’s whippy.
Payment for food and drink by cash or card.
The 6th Bromsgrove Scout Group will also have their Novelty Lights Stall.
Event Parking
This year there will be five car parks Crown Inn Catshill, Catshill Social Club
Chadsgrove School, Catshill Middle School car park, Catshill Middle School Playground (disabled parking).
Car parks will be sign posted and marshalled and drivers should aim for Crown car park first.
Street parking is not available and people, where possible, should walk or use public transport.
There will be a strict no street parking ‘red route’ along Meadow Road, The Meadows, Brookside Drive, Cowslip Close and more.
Rules and other arrangements
There is strictly no alcohol, personal fireworks or sparklers. Also no pets.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
All volunteers will be wearing Scout branded high visibility vests.
The event is hosted by the 6th Bromsgrove Scouts group.
It is sponsored by Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council.
