TRAIN STRIKES - No services on any West Midlands Railway routes on May 31 and June 3

Bromsgrove Editorial 30th May, 2023   0

A new wave of train strikes announced earlier this month will disrupt all services on the West Midlands Railway network tomorrow (May 31) and Saturday (June 3).

There will no services on West Midlands Railway routes on these days due to the strike action planned by The Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) union.

Due to the strikes, there may be some on the day cancellations on West Midlands Railway routes on Thursday (June 1).

There will also be a limited service on a small number of London Northwestern Railway routes on Friday (June 2) as a result of The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) strike action.

Those who have purchased tickets for May 31 can use their ticket on May 30 or up to and including June 5.

Those who have purchased tickets for June 2 and 3 can use their tickets on June 1 or up to and including June 6.

West Midlands Railway advises passengers travel as close to their original departure time as possible.

The ASLEF strikes also halted all West Midlands Railway services on May 12.

The RMT also carried out industrial action earlier this month on May 13, where a limited timetable ran between 7am and 7pm, with some services completely suspended.
