A MOTORCYCLIST has been left with life-changing injuries after a serious crash in Lickey, Bromsgrove.
The collision happened around 4.20pm yesterday (Friday) at the junction of Old Birmingham Road and Rose Hill. It involved a Triumph motorcycle and a white Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta failed to stop at the scene. The vehicle was later recovered after being abandoned on Monument Lane.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating to establish who was driving the Ford Fiesta at the time of the collision. And officers are appealing to anyone who saw the vehicle before the collision, witnessed the crash itself, or saw the Fiesta after the collision to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage, CCTV or doorbell camera footage from the areas of Twatling Road, Old Birmingham Road, Rose Hill or Monument Lane around the time of the collision.”
