Spooky fun for Halloween at Rubery's new-look Morrisons

Bromsgrove Editorial 2nd Nov, 2017   0

THERE was spooky goings on at the new-look Morrisons in Rubery when a special Halloween event was held.

People manager Karen Hancocks organised a trick or treat trail around the store’s Market Street which ended with free hot chocolate with marshmallows in the cafe.

Jane Williams, the store’s community champion, said: “It was a resounding success with more than 200 local children taking part.

“Many parents loved the idea as it meant their youngsters were in a safe environment.”

Morrisons has also had The Dracula’s Devil Garlic Bread on offer at its stores in Rubery, Bromsgrove and Droitwich.

It is 600 times more garlicky than the usual garlic bread and is available for £1.60 until Sunday, November 5.
