SANTA and his reindeer will be making a special visit at the Burcot Grange and Lodge this Christmas.
On December 8, the Bromsgrove care home will be hosting an all-day charity Christmas Festival for the local community.
The care home has teamed up with The Phoenix Children’s Foundation – a charity which enriches the lives of young people and their families living with illness, disability, or lack of opportunity – and will take donations for Primrose Hospice.
Vicky Osborne, general manager of Burcot Grange and Lodge, said: “It will be fantastic for our residents and their families to connect with the local community at this special time of year, as well as a great opportunity to raise money for charity.”
Festive food, a fairground organ, live music, a Christmas Trail, stalls and Santas Grotto are a few things which will be there on the day.
Those who attend will be given the opportunity to pet Santa’s real reindeer and visit the man himself in his grotto.
One resident of The Grange said: “I’m hoping to make new friends on the day, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone to our home to take part in some festive fun together as one big family.”
The event starts at 10.30am and finishes at 4.30pm.
