THE NUMBER of slots people can book at Bromsgrove’s Household Recycling Centre (HRC) in Quantry Lane, Romsley, has been tripled from two to six within 14 days.
This is to give residents more opportunities to dispose of their rubbish when needed.
Worcetershire County Council, which runs the HRC, hopes the move will provide more flexibilty for visitors.
Weekend visitors should continue to book visits online, with appointments being available up to a fortnight in advance.
However, bookings are not required Tuesday through to Friday.
Coun Josh Robinson, Worcestershire County Councillor with Responsibilty for Environment and Communities, said:”After listening to residents concerns, we’ve tripled the number of bookings they can make for weekends from two to six every 14 days.
“We’re giving people much greater flexibilty while continuing to provide an efficient service.”
