Pair to face trial over threats to kill in Bromsgrove

A MAN and a woman from Bromsgrove have pleaded not guilty to making threats to kill to another man in the town on July 18.

Jonathan David Suckling, 30, of Foxwalks Avenue, also denied using threatening, abusive or insulting words and behaviour on the same day, during the hearing at Redditch Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).

Laura Jane Suckling, 22, of Foxwalks Avenue, also faced one count of attempted wounding with intent – grievous bodily harm, along with one of assault by beating and another of threatening a person with a 4ins to 5ins blade in a public place. She pleaded not guilty to both those offences.

The pair have been bailed to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Jaunary 19.
