A MAN will appear in court next month after being charged with wounding with intent following an incident in Catshill.

Graham Whittle, 52, of Spenser Walk in Catshill was arrested at the scene and has been bailed to appear at Worcester Crown Court on October 19.

The incident happened around 3.15pm on September 16 when a member of the public called the emergency services reporting a man with serious injuries at a property in Spenser Walk.

An ambulance was called and paramedics found a man in his 50s with a deep cut to his arm.

A woman in her 30s was also treated at the scene for a wound to her chest and hands.

A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said they were called at 3.21pm and a paramedic officer, two ambulances, a critical care paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended.

A woman was found with serious injuries and, after receiving treatment at the scene, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
