THESE stunning drone pictures by photographer Rob McNamara show Bromsgrove’s annual Christmas lights switch-on like never before – from above.
The event was attended by hundreds of people who had been enjoying two days of Christmas Markets and live festive entertainment.
As the 5pm countdown approached, even more people descended on the High Street – shown in Rob’s mesmerising pictures.
The crowds can be seen in different parts of the High Street and surrounding roads, making their way to the seasonal spectacle.
Then, as Father Christmas, Bromsgrove Town Crier Kevin Ward and the district council chairman, Coun Sam Ammar took to the stage for the big moment, the roads are awash with people.
Everyone involved in the Christmas Markets and lights switch-on day has praised the Bromsgrove public for their support of the event.
We were also there Friday, when the Christmas Market stalls joined the regular traders setting out their stalls, and yesterday for the festive extravaganza, broadcasting the Christmas lights switch-on live on our Facebook page.
