THIS TIME of year is always touched with magic as we all come together with family, friends and neighbours to celebrate.
However over the last couple of years, with all we have faced, I am in awe of the sense of community which Bromsgrove boasts. Not least as we all face financial challenges this winter – once again our community groups have come to the forefront whether its providing warm spaces, pop up toy shops and festive hampers to help those families in need.
Do take a few moments out of your festivities to pop in on a friend or neighbour who may be on their own – a friendly word over a mince pie goes a long way.
Looking forward to 2023 and there’s lots of projects which will come into fruition, not least the next development stage of the former market site.
I want to take this opportunity to also thank our emergency services, carers, nurses and everyone who will working over the festive period to keep us well and safe.
