Having plenty of fun with strings attached at Artrix

YOUNGSTERS and their parents and grandparents have been coming out in force to enjoy the activities on offer at Artrix’s Family Fun Fridays which are being held throughout August.

Among the free drop-in activities have been a bouncy castles and craft tables and youngsters have also been able to have a go at pottery, try out the ukelele and find out how to make a dragon puppet.

A ‘Funky Beats’ event will take place today (August 7) between 10am and 3pm and a ‘Superhero Friday’ will be held next week on August 14 from 10.30am until 3pm and they will both be held at the School Drive venue.

As part of the superhero event the young performers will also be able show off what they can do in the free Talent Show from 2pm to 3pm.




Artrix’s learning and engagement co-ordinator TC Peppercorn said: “We had a wonderful day and feedback from families has been very positive.

“We’re delighted that we are able to provide so many summer activities for families in Bromsgrove and the surrounding area.”
