THERE is free parking in Bromsgrove District Council’s town centre car parks this weekend.
To give shoppers the chance to check out Bromsgrove’s vast array independent shops, businesses and eateries, parking will be free all day this Saturday, December 13.
The scheme is part of the council’s ongoing commitment to support independent businesses and encourage people to spend locally during the festive season.
The annual event encourages shoppers to ‘shop local’.
Leader of Bromsgrove District Council, Coun Karen May said: “Bromsgrove boasts an eclectic mix of shops, businesses and eateries and I am delighted that we can support them by offering free parking this Saturday.”
Residents and visitors alike, can take advantage of free parking throughout the day, giving them more time to explore the independent businesses at the heart of Bromsgrove’s community.
