COUN Michael Thompson has been elected as the new chair of Bromsgrove Labour Party taking over from Tom Stanley who stepped down this month.
He said he was delighted.
“The Bromsgrove Labour Party is the most welcoming and inclusive organisation I have ever been involved with.”
He said he was looking forward to meeting new members and making new friends in the coming months.
“As well as supporting local campaigns, the local party has a responsibility to its members and supporters to challenge the national government and, particularly, the actions of its local MP.”
