Bromsgrove WORDS - Author Sarah Dunant to speak about new novel at Artrix

Tristan Harris 19th Apr, 2026   0

AN EVENING with Sarah Dunant will take place in The Studio at Bromsgrove’s Artrix at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 22.

Sarah, who has written 13 novels to date, will speak about her latest book ‘The Marchesa’.

She studied history at Newnham College, Cambridge, and went on to be a writer, broadcaster, teacher and critic.

Four of her books have been shortlisted for awards and she was a founding vice-patron of ‘The Women’s Prize for Fiction’ in the United Kingdom.

Having cut her teeth writing thrillers, in 2000 she returned to her first love – history and the Italian Renaissance.

Her latest book ‘The Marchesa’ brings alive the life and times of the First Lady of the Renaissance, the art collector and political manipulator, Isabella d’Este.

Tickets are £15 each with a £1.25 booking fee per ticket.
