THE WINNER of the first ever best-dressed Easter window in Aston Fields has been revealed.
Earlier today, Standard editor Tristan Harris went to judge this year’s entries, which included Fuso, Bremis and LK Hair.
And, LK Hair was judged to be the most vibrant and the shop took the title. The display was created by Sarah at Butterfly Delights.
The contest was organised by Bromsgrove District Councillor Jane Elledge.
She told the Standard: “There has always been a really good community spirit here in Aston Fields and I wanted to foster that.
“I saw that Rubery had had a best-dressed Easter window competition for years so thought we’d try it here.
“I’m hoping to plan many events like this in the future.”
Louise Hutchins, who co-owns the shop with Karen Groves, said: “It’s great that we have won the first ever Easter Window Competition.
“Karen – our co-owner – did a marvellous job organising it.”
